You’ll gain hands-on experience with customer success, training, and consulting while sharpening your technical skills.

As a Petroleum Engineer Intern, you will:

Support our software users by troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance.
Assist with customer success initiatives, ensuring clients are onboarded smoothly and get value from our solutions.
Contribute to training courses and certification programs, helping update and maintain relevant materials.
Work on manual updates and documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity for both internal and external stakeholders.
Support ongoing consulting projects, working closely with engineers and clients to deliver high-quality results.
Collaborate across teams to improve workflows, processes, and client outcomes.

✅ Requirements

Current student in Petroleum Engineering (bachelor’s or master’s program)
Strong technical foundation with a genuine interest in software and digital workflows in petroleum engineering.
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for both engineering and customer-facing work.

You’ll be an important part of a fast-moving, agile team, so flexibility and initiative are essential. Our clients are engineers, and your colleagues are engineers — it’s crucial that you enjoy collaborating with and building solutions for other engineers.

🧠 What you’ll do
As a Data Integration Engineer, you will work closely with our Data Integration Lead to:

Create, maintain, and update external API endpoints to input and output data from whitson+.
Update and improve resources such as videos, code examples, and documentation to support our community of users.
Build and support new data workflows and integrations to help our clients succeed — and give them peace of mind.
Travel to client locations when needed to ensure their success and support critical deployments.
Design and implement workflows to simplify how we integrate our software systems with a wide range of platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, on-prem SQL databases, Prodman, WellView).
Influence our products by suggesting new tools, frameworks, and integration approaches.

You’ll also be expected to:

Communicate clearly and stay organized.
Go the extra mile — it’s not done until it’s truly done.
