To address this issue, the whitson+ software platform support integrations that allows users to automatically calculate BHP e.g. using data from Peleton’s WellView software. This functionality has already been successfully set up for most of the 40+ companies that subscribe to the whitson platform.
The process of automatically calculating BHPs involves integrating i) internal production data, ii) wellbore configuration and artificial lift data stored in Peleton’s WellView, iii) an integration solution such as the whitson+ API or Snowflake, and the whitson+ software platform. This allows users to quickly and accurately calculate BHP for multiple wells at once, saving time and reducing the risk of human error.
whitson+ uses published, physics based models to accurately calculate BHP, taking into account various factors such as wellbore geometry, fluid properties, and wellbore pressure and temperature. The integration of whitson+ and Peleton’s WellView allows users to easily access and analyze their BHP data, which is useful for monitoring well performance and identifying any potential for well improvement.
